Katherine Cárdenas: From training to professional experience in web development

Back-End Developer at Code Castle

From El Salvador, Katherine Gabriela Cárdenas Hernández, a graduate of Cohort 3, has made a great leap in her professional development. Thanks to the She's Digital program and Junior Achievement El Salvador, Katherine strengthened her programming skills, learned Java and Spring Framework, and perfected the use of best practices in web development.

These learnings opened the door to a paid internship at Code Castle, where she applied her skills and gained professional experience to enhance her growth.

"Thanks to She's Digital, I was able to overcome my technical insecurities and find an opportunity that is helping me grow both professionally and personally," says Katherine. Her story is a clear example of the power of training to open up new opportunities!

Mirna Chávez: Determination and perseverance on the road to success

From Honduras, Mirna Gabriela Chávez Durón, a graduate of She's Digital Cohort 2, is an example of how effort and determination can transform lives.

Despite being unemployed and facing technical obstacles with her work team, Mirna managed to get certified in cybersecurity and achieve her dream of having a job in the IT area.

Today, Mirna works as a Digital Marketing and Interactive Media Specialist at Wow Media, an achievement she attributes to both her personal effort and the support and training received at She's Digital

"I feel very proud to be part of a great program like She's Digital, which gave me support and education in difficult times. I hope this program reaches more women and shows them that it is possible to change the future," says Mirna.

Stepping into the future: María José and her impact on technology

Mentor at Rocket Girls

From Costa Rica, María José Conejo Leiva found in She's Digital a community that came into her life at the perfect time. Trained in cybersecurity and front end developer, she discovered a space of inspiring women who showed her that she was not alone and that asking for help is an act of courage and growth.

Thanks to She's Digitals support, María José was selected as a Front-End Jr. Developer at Accenture. In addition, her trajectory and learning led her to be a speaker at Google's DevFest, which underlines her commitment and professionalism.

Today, María José shares her knowledge as a mentor at Rocket Girls, inspiring new generations to join the technological world with confidence and solid skills.

"She's Digital not only provided me with technical tools, but also a support network that allowed me to believe in myself and take firm steps towards my future," says María José.
