From Learning to Entrepreneurship: Discover the Stories of These Five Women in Digital Technology

She's Digital — First edition, 2025

They'll tell you themselves

When we signed up for She's Digital, we never imagined we'd be here telling the world how this program transformed our lives. But here we are: five women from different corners of Brazil, with a story worth sharing.

Cybersecurity brought us together. That's how we built a community.

We met in our online classes. Five women from different parts of the country, initially brought together by a cybersecurity module. However, as we progressed through the program’s challenges, we began to notice something more powerful than the technical content: we were alike. We tackled our obstacles in very similar ways—with determination and without fear of exploring uncharted paths.

Our bond grew stronger. And with it, our desire to meet in person.

We spent six months studying together, sharing not only technical knowledge but also personal challenges. We went from being classmates to becoming something more: a community.

A Christmas Miracle and an E-Book

Finally, the opportunity to meet in person arrived: a visit to the project’s sponsor, Kyndryl, in Hortolândia. The problem was real. We come from very distant places, with different economic realities, and the visit fell right in the middle of the Christmas season. How could we raise funds for the plane tickets in December?

We decided to take action. On December 24, with French toast sizzling in the pan and the family arriving, we launched a crowdfunding campaign. The idea: an e-book on cybersecurity, written by us, featuring everything we’d learned during the program.

We reached our goal in less than a week.

Cybersecurity is for you, too

Throughout January, we focused on writing the e-book. Our goal was clear: to make cybersecurity more accessible to people who aren’t tech experts. Scams on messaging apps, account hacking, fake shopping websites—real, everyday problems.

Because data protection isn't just something that happens in spy movies or at big corporations. It's part of our daily lives. And any one of us can become a victim, but we can also learn how to protect ourselves.

The day we met in person

In February, the big moment arrived. We met face-to-face for the first time and spent a full day together at Kyndryl, the program’s strategic partner: we attended talks by professionals in the tech sector, shared experiences, and heard stories from those who came before us and showed us that it is indeed possible to make the transition to a career in technology.

We left more convinced than ever: this has to go far beyond an e-book.

She's Digital the gateway you need to go through to find more opportunities

What we learned at She's Digital just the beginning. We have the opportunity to help people feel safer online and to demonstrate, through our actions, that women also have a place in technology.

We want to take a closer look at the community around us. We want to share what we’ve learned about social engineering, the real dangers of the digital world, and the safeguards that each person can build within their own network.

The e-book was the first step. Today, we want more.

She's Digital much more than just a course. It's the gateway to a whole new world—a community built by women, for women.
