What the data says about the IT sector

The technology sector faces a shortage of talent, particularly in entry-level roles such as cybersecurity.

A study on labor demand analyzed 79,244 job searches across six countries —of which 3,655 were in the technology sector.

39% of IT job openings are for junior candidates (with 1 year or less of experience), and 60% list social-emotional skills as a requirement.
