The fintech industry in Latin America is undergoing a period of expansion and transformation, with new opportunities paving the way toward a more diverse and inclusive ecosystem. In this context, She is Digital the company attended Fintech Americas 2025, reaffirming that the future of this sector must also be shaped by women’s leadership.
During this edition, one of the most important events of the financial and technological sector in the region, Junior Achievement Americas took the main stage to present a strategic alliance with Fintech Americas, framed in its new thematic track: #FemTech. This space focused on making visible, empowering and promoting female talent in the world of technology applied to finance.
"This is a special moment for Fintech Americas, as it is the first time in the history of our event that we are incorporating an initiative dedicated to inspire, empower and encourage female leadership in the Latin American financial industry. We are proud to present this partnership," said Maria Mancuso, co-founder of the event.
A bridge to future employment
At Junior Achievement Americas, we are committed to building bridges between young people and the world of work, especially in dynamic and transformative sectors such as fintech. That is why we celebrate this alliance, which allows us to continue positioning female talent as a key force in technological innovation in the region.
During our participation in the #FemTech track, we shared the tangible impact of She is Digital, a program that has trained more than 8,000 women in Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala in skills such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, and web development. Many of them are already working in the tech sector, blazing a trail and demonstrating their commitment to real change.
The road continues
We know this is just the beginning. We want to expand She is Digital to more countries and offer more women access to high-quality training that will transform their career paths.
To achieve this, we are looking for allies who share this mission: organizations willing to fund more scholarships, offer mentoring or incorporate our graduates into their teams. The talent is ready. So is the motivation. We just need to open more doors.
Will you join us?
If you’re part of a company, foundation, or institution interested in promoting women’s inclusion in technology and contributing to a more equitable fintech ecosystem, now is the time to act. The women at She is Digital are ready to take the next step. Are you ready to welcome them to your team?
